Got the Banh Khot and the Shaking beef w/ red rice. Both were great and my personal highlight was the red rice which had amazing texture and flavor. The beef was tender for some pieces and tough and chewy for others; if it was more consistent I think it be prefect for me. I'm a little picky about my veggies, so I was really happy when the vegetables that came with the Banh Khot had plenty of basil and mint that looked clean and fresh. The service was nice and in my opinion had a good balance between being hands off and attentive. A couple of FYIs: If you have a large party, make sure to have 75% of your group present otherwise they will not seat you. Also, to pay, you have to walk up to the counter. I found this a little unusual but not a big deal.

Outstanding Vietnamese spot! The food was so fresh and full of flavor. Restaurant is very clean and modern, prices are average for the amount of food you get. We were around 10:30am on a Saturday and were sat immediately but by the time we left, there was a wait to sit.

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in sac! It's my go to when I want to eat delicious street style Vietnamese food. Eve try time I come here it's always a good experience. There is a yelp waitlist and it's definitely faster that way to reserve your seating. The service was nice and the food came out fast. The ambiance was cool and I love the decor of the store. I tried the banh khot for the first time and it was so good. They give u a side of veggies with the mini pancakes and it was delicious. The filet dish with the pork roll is so savory and delicious. It comes with bread to dip and definitely a must get. Their coconut coffee is my go to I always get it when I come here.

Oh my God, I wish there was a closer location to me in San Jose! My friend and I put ourselves on the waitlist since it was a Sunday, it also took us a bit to find parking since it's not that big of a plaza. The plaza has Bambu and Snowbee as well, if you wanted dessert after getting lunch/dinner here. The service was excellent, the food came out in 15 minutes and the waiters always refilled our waters, made sure we had everything. The banh khot was crunchy and I'm not sure if those were pepper flakes on top, but it was a bit spicy, I would still get it next time. Oh my God, I loved the crab udon. The texture of the noodles were amazing, they weren't too soft but just the right texture. It also had a great ratio of fish cake, onions, etc. I miss it already..
